ADU's — Accessory Dwelling Units

An ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) is a fully independent secondary living space on your property — attached to your home, detached in your backyard, or converted from an existing garage. ADUs add rental income potential, multigenerational living space, or a fully self-contained guest suite to your property. AG Developers handles ADU projects from zoning check through final inspection in Franklin, Brentwood, Nashville, and across Williamson County.

How It Works

Zoning & Feasibility Check
We verify your parcel's ADU eligibility under Franklin's 2025 zoning ordinance or applicable local regulations, confirm setback and size requirements, and validate owner-occupancy compliance before any design work begins. Tennessee requires the owner to occupy either the primary home or the ADU.
Design, Permits & Planning
We develop the floor plan, submit for building permits in our name, and coordinate with local planning departments. We know the Franklin and Williamson County ADU permitting process — we've done it before. TN GC License #76500.
Full Construction
Foundation, framing, roofing, mechanical, and finish work — we build your ADU from the ground up, managing every subcontractor and delivering a fully permitted, inspected, move-in ready unit.
